I lost a piston on my 24 year old 22" High Wheel mower, which they don't make any more, so turned to Google. This is as close as I could expect to come as a replacement. I added some oil and gas, started on the first pull, and my daughter tried it out. It is a little lighter and a lot shinier than my old one, hope it holds up as well.

Love it, handles easy

Been using this mower for home use the last 3 years and it's the best I've ever owned. Tall grass doesn't slow it down, the motor starts with no more than 3 pulls, it's light, yet very ruggedly built. I purchased it because of the POS big box store mowers that wouldn't last more than a few years. This was money well spent, built so well, I think the mower will out live me. The only down side, no quick adjust wheel height, which is a minor gripe.

How Do I Maintain a Lawn Mower?

Just like cars, lawn mowers need to be properly looked after to keep them functioning as they should. This means the engine oil should be changed when required, and other regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing the spark plug, cleaning the air filter, sharpening the blades and preventing grass buildup, need to be planned for as well. It's best to keep your lawn mower in a secure area free from dampness or moisture to prevent it from rusting over time.

Is Learning to Drive a Stand-On Lawn Mower Difficult?

Lots of people wonder whether it's difficult to learn to drive a stand-on lawn mower, especially if they're used to ride-on mowers. The good news is that learning to drive a stand-on lawn mower is simple and easy. After your first time using one, you'll get used to its functions and drive like a professional in no time.

How Do Lawn Mowers Handle on Slopes?

It's understandable to question how lawn mowers can handle slopes. After all, it looks like gravity is against you. Stand-on commercial lawn mowers come equipped with large wheels with durable treads that provide traction when needed. Walk-behind push mowers are also an option if you're looking for a lawn mower for a particularly prominent slope, but it's best to speak with a member of our team to ensure we recommend a product that'll fit your needs.

Commercial Lawn Mowers FAQs

A commercial lawn mower is a heavy-duty mower that cuts grass and vegetation efficiently and effectively. Key features include a powerful engine, advanced safety features and a wide cutting deck.

What Types of Commercial Lawn Mowers Are Available?

Tractor mowers are more maneuverable and ideal for flat surfaces but not areas with dangerous slopes. Zero-turn mowers, available as walk-behind or stand-on, operate like tractor mowers and may include attachments for snowplowing or mulching. For navigating difficult terrains, consider a remote-controlled mower, which allows you to effortlessly control your mower's direction, movement or cutting functions.

How Do I Choose the Right Commercial Lawn Mower for My Landscaping Business?

Pick a mower with a powerful engine to handle challenging terrain. Ensure it's durable if you plan to use it frequently. Additionally, consider maneuverability for uneven surfaces. Mowers with zero-turn capability can better navigate difficult terrains.

What Maintenance Is Required for Commercial Lawn Mowers to Ensure Optimal Performance?

Keep your lawn mower in good shape by visually inspecting all its components and regularly cleaning it. Inspect the fluid levels, sharpen the blades and replace the oil every spring to avoid costly repairs.

Can I Use a Commercial Lawn Mower for Residential Purposes?

A homeowner can use a commercial lawn mower when they have multiple lawns to maintain or when their lawns are about 2 acres in size. A commercial mower may also be useful for cutting a residential lawn with difficult terrain.

What Safety Precautions Should I Take When Using a Commercial Lawn Mower?

Wear appropriate clothing when operating a commercial lawn mower. To avoid injury, we recommend wearing sturdy boots, long jeans and a form-fitting shirt. Never leave a commercial mower running unattended, and don't uninstall the mower's safety features.
